As of today, we’re FORS accredited, ID 101901. A well-earned achievement and another feather in our cap. Congratulations to everyone at the office who worked tirelessly to gain this accreditation. But what does it mean for us and our customers?
Cost savings
Through training the scheme can help reduce fleet costs by improving driving techniques and vehicle efficiency, which can lower fuel consumption and repair bills. Allowing us to safely maintain our fleet longer. As a result, allowing us to offer more competitive prices to our customers.
Environmental impact
FORS can help reduce a fleet’s environmental impact by providing training on fuel-saving driving techniques and helping to achieve more efficient vehicles as well as insight into the best types of vehicles to choose for maximum efficiency and CO2 reduction.
Situational awareness
Drivers undergo training ranging from, but not limited to, counter terrorism, exploitation, situational awareness when loading, unloading and interacting with other parties as well as hazard awareness and theft counter measures.
Road safety
FORS can help improve road safety by reducing accidents and incidents through driver training and safety measures, best road practices and driver evaluation. The use of front and rear recording devices also helps mitigate any issues in the event of an accident.
Reputation
FORS membership can enhance a company’s reputation by demonstrating a commitment to exceeding industry standards. This is something fundamental to the core of HSP. But by being accredited it proves to our customers, via external auditing, that practice what we preach.
Recognition
Being approved sets us apart from the crowd by providing that we adhere to the standards and expectations demanded by FORS. Customers are safe in the knowledge that we operate to a high standard, enabling us to work with government bodies and other institutions who require FORS accreditation.
